About US:
We are Zembo, the
growing company introducing electric motorcycles to the boda-boda industry in
Uganda. Our main business is the sale and lease of motorcycles and a network of
battery charge stations. Our operations begun in August 2018 and now we seek to
extend our team and hire an administrative assistant.
Job Summary: As an administrative assistant your role is to
assist the team in its daily work and help to shape a reliable and efficient
team. At Zembo we work under the principles of self-management (Teal
organisation). You will have responsibilities and the opportunity to help shape
our growing company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow-up
on driver payments
·
Manage
daily cashflows
·
Efficiently
coordinate processes between different departments
·
Make
sure the company is up to date with all required licenses
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
applicant should hold a High school diploma; BSc/BA in business administration
or relevant field is preferred
·
Accounting
is an added advantage
·
Proven
experience as an office administrator, book keeper or relevant role (minimum
one year)
·
Outstanding
communication and interpersonal abilities
·
Excellent
organizational and leadership skills
·
Ability
and willingness to work in autonomy, take responsibilities and initiatives
·
Familiarity
with office management procedures and accounting principles
·
Excellent
knowledge of MS Office (notably Excel)
·
Knowledge
of QuickBooks is an advantage
