start-up Micro-Finance located in Gayaza, Wakiso. We are an Impact Microfinance
that seeks to positively disrupt the sector by providing growth capital to
micro enterprises.
Job Summary: The Credit Officer will support the team and
grow with us as we embark on our mission.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Review
loan requests
·
Assess
clients’ financial status
·
Evaluate
creditworthiness and risks
·
Contact
clients to gather financial data and documentation
·
Analyze
risks and approve or reject loan requests
·
Calculate
financial ratios (e.g. credit scores and interest rates)
·
Set up
payment plans
·
Maintain
updated records of loan applications
·
Follow
up with clients about loan renewals
·
Monitor
progress of existing loans Requirements
·
Support
in the development of innovative credit financing instruments.
·
Any
other related responsibilities as may be required/assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
A
minimum of two years’ experience as a credit officer in a microfinance or large
SACCO environment.
·
Proficiency
in Excel.
·
Self-starter
who can think and work independently, as well as a team player.
·
Excellent
report writing skills.
·
Prior
business Management skills are a plus.
·
