Baylor-Uganda is a
private not for profit child health and development organization providing
family-centered pediatric HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services,
health professional training, and clinical research in Uganda. Baylor College
of Medicine Children’s Foundation -Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) is an indigenous
not-for-profit child health and development organisation affiliated to the
Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a
Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment Children’s Clinical Centres
of Excellence and international program offices in 11 countries across Africa
and Eastern Europe.


Job Summary:  The TB/HIV Officer will drive and support the
implementation of TB/HIV activities. The core functions will include
implementing strategies to increase TB case finding, improve TB treatment
outcomes and integrate TB/HIV services into the existing healthcare services
such as reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health care.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Diploma in Clinical Medicine or equivalent
    from a recognized University/Institution.
  • Must be registered with Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
    applications (MS Word and Excel)
  • At least three years of relevant work experience in the field of TB
    and HIV control activities with at least one year in a supervisory role
  • 3 Years Relevant Experience

  • You must have at least a credit 6 in MATHEMATICS and ENGLISH at
