health professional training, and clinical research in Uganda. Baylor College
of Medicine Children’s Foundation -Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) is an indigenous
not-for-profit child health and development organisation affiliated to the
Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a
Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment Children’s Clinical Centres
of Excellence and international program offices in 11 countries across Africa
and Eastern Europe.
Job Summary: The VMMC QA Officer will provide team
leadership to the district-based VMMC teams; ensure compliance to VMMC quality
standards; monitor VMMC data recording and reporting; and supervise VMMC
service delivery. S/he will participate in QI training of the district HWs from
various HFs.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The applicant
must hold a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health or equivalent.
·
Must be
registered with the Allied Health Professionals’ Council
·
A minimum
of three years’ experience in providing VMMC services and leading VMMC quality
improvement.
·
Good
communication and interpersonal skills
·
Ability
to ride is an added advantage
·
Must be
willing to work in rural settings
