Organization established in Uganda in 1998 as a Centre of Excellence for
provision of comprehensive HIV & AIDS prevention, care, treatment and
training services.
Job Summary: The Clinical Systems Strengthening Specialist
will provide technical and programmatic leadership in project strategy and
implementation of the Clinical systems strengthening interventions that result
in accelerated HIV epidemic control and achievement of other project targets in
the supported region and projects.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
applicant for the Mildmay Uganda Clinical Systems Strengthening Specialist job
placement must hold a Bachelors’ Degree in Medicine (MBChB) plus a Masters’
Degree in a health-related field.
·
The
successful candidate must have a valid practicing license;
·
At least
five years of progressively increasing responsibility in managing comprehensive
and complex technical assistance in HIV or other health programs;
·
Five
years’ experience in clinical work with emphasis on HIV management.
·
S/he
must have demonstrable experience managing similar projects involving
management of multi-million-dollar budgets/portfolios and a subject matter
expertise in HIV management, TB management, Health Service delivery and Health
Systems Strengthening
