a continuous flow of life-saving medicines and essential health products to
health facilities across the country.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
To
provide support for all computer and printer hardware, CCTV and all
applications used by the Group as well as configuration, upgrades and
maintenance of these.

·       
Troubleshooting
and maintenance of server systems (Linux and Microsoft), LAN and WAN solutions

·       
To
implement and enforce internal computer systems security.

·       
To
administer Domain controller, Active directory, firewalls and routers.

·       
To
implement and maintain up-to-date backups for server and all applications

·       
To test
and implement software patches for all applications, including third party applications

·       
To
build, implement, periodically test and review disaster recovery plans for all
ICT systems and infrastructure

·       
The
procurement of software, hardware and other ICT accessories.

·       
To
maintain comprehensive and updated documentation of all ICT systems and
infrastructure in use by the Group

·       
Responsible
for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems,
network servers, and virtualization

·       
Install
and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and
integrate automation processes

·       
Troubleshoot
hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and
resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues

·       
Provide
documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and
implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure

·       
Perform
or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for
data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

·       
Lead
desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications,
workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner
with limited disruptions

·       
Responsible
for capacity, storage planning, and database performance

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The applicant
must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or BSc Computing or any
other related field.

·       
At least
three to five years of related work experience in a busy organization.

·       
Strong
knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking
protocols

·       
Demonstrated
leadership and negotiation skills

·       
Excellent
planning and organizational skills

·       
Strong
analytical and problem solving skills

·       
Familiarity
with various operating systems and platforms

·       
Resourcefulness
and problem-solving aptitude

·       
Excellent
communication skills

·       
Demonstrated
ability to establish and maintain effective business relationship and
partnership

·       
Strong
interpersonal skills and high level of integrity

·       
Report
writing skills

·       
Decision
making
