GOAL is currently
seeking to hire a highly qualified professional to join our Young Africa Works
(YAW) team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic
International NGO. If you are familiar with working in or with the Private
Sector, in Finance or Agriculture, and have years of experience in managing
data collection and reporting, you are the one we are looking for!
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
To be successful in
this role, you will need:

Post Graduate Diploma / MBA, M&E or Research
·
At least
seven years of significant experience in M&ERL, with at least three years
at managerial level
·
Experience
with projects that use a Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P) approach.
·
Excellent
written and oral communication skills, including experience drafting
reports
·
Strong
interpersonal skills, including the ability to work and build relationships
with team members and partners from diverse backgrounds
·
Good,
demonstrable communication and presentation skills in English (both in written
and spoken)
·
Very
strong analytical skills and attention to detail
·
Strong
organizational skills
·
Ability
to travel up to 50% of time from base
The
nature of the role: This is a full-time position that will report to the Deputy Program
Director (Monitoring, Evaluation Research and Learning (DPD-MERL.) Your role is
to lead a team in charge of monitoring and evaluation and measuring the impact
of programme activities, conducting research and documenting and disseminating
learnings. You will support the formulation of intervention results chains and
measurement plans, design of digital M&E tools in PowerBi, CommCare and
Mwater, as well as data collection to measure market systems change/
performance and impact. You will lead a team of researchers and in daily
contact with the DPD MERL.
