Job Summary:  The receptionist is responsible for providing
support for day-to-day administrative functions and general office management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Serve
visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.

·       
Coordinate
front-desk activities such as answering, screening and transferring calls and

·       
escalating
queries and complaints where necessary.

·       
Manage
office supplies such as stationery, equipment and furniture.

·       
Maintain
the flow of services from the various services providers of the company.

·       
Receive
and dispatch deliveries/mail.

·       
Assist
the HR team with recruitment.

·       
Ensure
the reception area is clean, tidy and presentable at all times.

·       
Supervise
and assist the office attendant and caretaker where necessary.

·       
Maintain
office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the

·       
reception
desk.

·       
Update
calendars and schedule meetings as requested.

·       
Compile
and keep updated records of office expenses and costs.

·       
Perform
other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, printing and photocopying.

·       
Contribute
to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The applicant
must hold a Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Humanities or related
field.

·       
Candidates
who have previous clerical, administrative or receptionist experience.

·       
Basic
computer knowledge with good knowledge of Google suite and MS applications.

·       
Organisational
skills.

·       
Attention
to detail.

·       
Exceptional
multitasker with stress management skills.

·       
Strong
customer service skills with a pleasant personality.

·       
Professionalism.

·       
Supply
Management.

·       
Languages: Excellent communication skills in English
and Luganda required. Any other local language would be an asset.
