Public Foundation (AGHPF) is a Ugandan Registered Non-Governmental Organisation
(NGO) with offices in Kampala, Uganda. The Foundation has been in operations
for over 18 years carrying out most of its work in Sub Saharan Africa.
Job Summary: The Communications Officer will be responsible
for the organisation’s communication both internally and externally.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Responsible
for developing all communication to interested parties.
·
Managing
all Media platforms and engagements.
·
Responsible
for all documentaries of the Foundation’s work to include videography and
photography
·
Responsible
for all Foundation publications from creation to print.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
Bachelor’s
Degree in journalism, communications, marketing, journalism, public relations
or a related field is required.
·
A
minimum of three years’ experience in communication related field
·
Previous
experience working on USG funded projects is added advantage.
·
At least
2 years’ experience in providing administrative support to executives and/ or
senior management teams.
·
Demonstrated
ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
·
Excellent
communication skills; communicates sensitively, effectively and creatively on
relevant issues.
·
Demonstrated
writing experience.
·
Proficiency
in design and publishing software.
·
Experience
in website and social media management
·
Demonstrated
writing experience.
·
Proficiency
in design and publishing software.
·
Experience
in website and social media management
·
Consistently
approaches work with energy and a positive attitude
