About US:
The National Animal
Genetic Resources Centre and Data Bank (NAGRC&DB) was established by the
Animal Breeding Act, 2001. It is one of the statutory semi-autonomous bodies of
the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF). Formation
of NAGRC &DB was part of the fulfilment of the aspirations in the National
Animal Breeding Policy (1997), document and the Action Plan for its
implementation providing guidelines to all actors in the animal breeding and
production value-chain. The actors included input suppliers, farmers,
companies, researchers, extension workers and civic leaders on suitable breeds
for the various ecological and production systems.
Job Summary:   The Office Records Assistant will receive,
keep and provide records according to established standards and procedures
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
sorts, and opens mail
outgoing mails
files for action
file movement
Draws up
file index for easy identification
out regular file census
any other duties assigned from time to time

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
He / She
must hold a Diploma in records and archives management or Library and
information science or its equivalent from a recognized awarding institution.
have a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a credit in English Language.
One year
of experience working as a Records Assistant
25-45 years
