About US:

Horyal Investments Holding Company Ltd has commenced the
process to operationalize a leading new sugar factory at Atiak Uganda, East
Africa. The Factory is  jointly owned by
the Government of Republic of Uganda ,with annual production capacity(APC).
60,000 Tonnes of granular sugar.

Job Summary:  The Assistant Mill Engineer will assist the
Mill engineer with the proper functioning and operation of the mechanical
engineering plant for the production process throughout the shift. .

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·      
In-depth knowledge in mill operation welding

·      
Fitting and rigging, use and application of lubricants

·      
Mechanical maintenance procedures

·      
Dismantling

·      
Overhauling and assembling of machines

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·      
The ideal candidate should have a diploma in
Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a reputable institution.

·      
 A certificate
in basic supervisory management is an added advantage.

·      
At least three (3) years hands on experience as
a mechanical technician or fitter machinist on the factory floor

·      
Age: 30 Years and above

·      
Good analytical and quick fault detection skills

·      
Good supervisory skills

·      
Good training and teaching skills

·      
Good communication and interpersonal skills

·      
Report writing skills
