Job Summary: The Machine Attendant has the overall
responsibility for manning one machine, collecting and packing good quality
products as per company specifications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Check
machine parameters at regular intervals during operation and report any
deviations to
·
the
Technical operator for corrective action.
·
Responsible
for the inspection of all products during production.
·
Hand over
machine, materials and Finished goods at the end of shift to ensure proper
·
working
order.
·
Maintain
and clean machines before and after each shift.
·
Inform
the Technical Operator or Production shift leader of any abnormality and stop
any
·
machine
producing out of tolerance products
·
Ensure
proper housekeeping by immediately informing the Technical Operator of any
areas
·
observed
that do not conform to the set standards.
·
Maintains
safe and healthy work environment (5S) by following standards and procedures,
·
complying
with statutory regulations.
·
Updates
job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical
·
publications.
Health and Safety
·
Ensure
personal safety, wear safety gadgets provided all the time.
·
Perform
safety checks on a machine before and after operating.
·
Report
observed safety issues at the end of the shift to the new operator.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
applicant must hold a Certificate in Mechanics, Electrical installation, crafts
engineering, or a related field
·
One year
of related work experience
