Movit Products Ltd is a Ugandan personal care company based
in Kampala, manufacturing personal care products. Its brands include Movit,
Radiant, Baby Junior, Skin Guard, Pine and NAN. The company was founded in
1997, by Simpson Birungi as a makeshift workshop in Namasuba, Wakiso District.
In 1999 the first Movit product, Herbal Baby Jelly, was put on the market. Over
the years, Movit, the company’s flagship name, has grown into one of Uganda’s
top cosmetics brands with distribution links in both East Africa and the COMESA
regions. Other known products from Movit include the Body Milk Lotion, Junior
Petroleum Jelly, Movit No base Relaxer and many more.
Job Summary: The Marketing Manager – Export will coordinate all marketing activities in the international business operations of
MPL so as to meet the company strategic objectives
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Take part in the overall market planning by
providing insights of international business operations to help achieve the
strategic objectives of the business;
Enhance the contribution to revenue per
product  for the 3 brands through
executing market research, product portfolio management, tracking and brand
activations in line the respective departmental work plan;
Field visits and reporting to follow up on the
challenges faced, new expectations and follow up towards their achievement;
Coordinating the implementation of customer
relationship marketing programs for international business;
Coordinate channel branding consistency in the
respective countries to ensure the three brands are well represented;
Prepare and submit relevant administrative
documents in a timely and accurate manner, i.e.: letters of credit; credit
control mechanisms; licenses; declarations; clearances, permission letters,
safety protocols, goods handling instructions, routing, proper packing,
suitable transport methods and safety documentation.;
Follow-up on the implementation of the Export
Sale strategies that may include Trade shows, Market activation events and
market intelligence plans; and
Perform general market audits in line with
general trade merchandizing and supermarkets merchandizing.
Daily tracking of  order status for all approved transactions
Ensure 100% payment before the dispatch of the
agent’s consignments
Ensure 100% compliance as per the country trade
Timely delivery of the required  product sample to regulatory body with in the
specific timelines
Make status reports on key supervised company
activation campaigns
Tracking and monitoring company based activities
to ensure visibility and value for money
Update the company customer data base
Weekly itinerary for all the zones/agents in the
assigned region with clear supervisory activity based plans
Ensure 100% management of all customer
Ensure 100% compliance with the required export
documentation check list
Ensure 100% success rate on all assigned export
Express a high degree of flexibility and

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s
Degree in a relevant field
At least three (3) years’ experience in the
previous grade
Computer literacy
