Union Logistics Uganda Limited, known as ULUL and its
associated Group of Companies have been actively involved in International
Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearing and Logistics services since June 2005. We
offer specialized Project Logistics services custom designed to the client’s
requirement which include planning, implementation and execution of shipments
from origin to various final destinations within East, Central Africa and
across the globe.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The
Receptionist will greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
·
Guide
all visitors to the appropriate person and office
·
Answer,
screen and forward incoming phone calls
·
Ensure
reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and
material (eg pens, forms and brochures)
·
Provide
base and accurate information in-person and via phone / Email
·
Receive,
sort and distribute all daily mail deliveries
·
Maintain
office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the
reception desk (monitor logbook issue visitor badges)
·
Order
front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
·
Update
calendars and schedule meetings
·
Perform
other clerical reception duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and
faxing
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
applicant should hold a Diploma / Bachelor’s degree
·
Two years
as a Receptionist or in front office role in a busy organization
·
Ability
to multi-task
·
Professional
attitude
·
Customer
service approach
·
Time
management
·
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
