Job Summary:   The Officer Asset Management and Security
Operations will plan, maintain and ensure bank physical IT infrastructure
assets are accounted for and maintained. The incumbent will configure, deploy
and maintain the comprehensive enterprise security infrastructure.  Complete any necessary security reports and
ensure that the state is compliant with all applicable regulations and
participate in deployment of security policies, guidelines, best practices, and
strategy.  This role reports to the
Manager Capacity & Asset Management 
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·       
Ensure
the country, operates to minimum Hardware Asset Management standards per the
Framework
·       
Responsible
for ensuring the fixed asset register (FAR) is accurate and reflects the IT
Hardware assets in the field per user and business unit.
·       
Accountable
for analysing, projecting and soliciting agreements on BUs on technology
refresh cycles / initiatives for IT Hardware
·       
Accountable
for generating and providing performance metrics on Hardware technology base in
use.
·       
Responsible
for identifying and reporting Asset Management risks and issues and ensuring
that such issues are resolved and reported to Risk management
·       
Responsible
for the approval and enhancement of the process of destruction of hard drives.
·       
Accountable
for the Reverse Logistics process and ensure policies are implemented, tracked
and reported, including data storage destruction
·       
Ensure
that all PCs entering and existing the IT workshop are registered
·       
Ensure
that Asset Management forms are enforced
·       
Work
closely with infrastructure Hardware unit where Infrastructure Security and
Asset Management is concerned
·       
Meet
contracted Service Levels
·       
Implement
Change with minimum Business disruption
·       
Improves
Service through targeted Improvement Programs
·       
Enforce
the Security, Risk and Audit issues of IT Production Services Unit.
·       
Configure,
deploy, and maintain the state enterprise security infrastructure
·       
Actively
protect state information technology assets and infrastructure from external or
internal threats and ensure that the state complies with statutory and
regulatory requirements regarding information access, security and privacy
·       
Assist
the end-user, other IT professionals, and external customers in requesting
security variances and implementation of subsequent configuration change
requests
·       
Recommend
best security practices to achieve stated business objectives, advises on risk
assumptions for any variances granted, and provides alternatives to achieve
desired end result
·       
Assist
in incident response for any breaches, intrusions, or theft
·       
Manage
systems for any anomalies, proper updating, and patching
·       
Evaluates
and performs planning, testing, and implementation of software and hardware
upgrades
·       
Help
coordinate with IT Risk Security for them to inspect all PCs freshly setup from
the IT workshop
·       
Reverse
Logistic. All processes associated with the hardware and software purchased by
the Bank during the product lifecycle. The ultimate objective is to optimize
and make more efficient such processes, thus saving money and resources.
·       
Management
of the redeployable assets and data cleansing of the hardware
·       
Management
of Lost or stolen IT equipment
·       
Disposal
of Assets/ Destruction of hardware drives (Scrapping, selling. Reduce to
spares)
·       
Analyze
problems, recommend solutions, products, and technologies to meet business
objectives where Infrastructure Security is concerned
·       
Review
the Asset, Capacity and Infrastructure Security reports for Trends,
Repetitions, Define RCA (root cause) and send them to Problem Manager.
·       
Ensure
that all reports for Infrastructure Security are on time and available



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·       
The
ideal applicant for the Stanbic Bank Officer Asset Management and Security
Operations job must be a University graduate with a degree / diploma in
Business, IT or a related subject
·       
Two to
three years’ experience in a related field.
·       
Process
management
·       
ITIL
processes Knowledge including Capacity, change, incident and problem
management, request fulfillment, Service asset and configuration management.
·       
Including
knowledge of standard business processes including work prioritization, best
practices.
·       
Including
knowledge of the ISO 27002 Standard.
·       
Knowledge
of domestic and international banking industry
·       
Including
knowledge of the Bank’s business, products, key clients, business strategy and
strategic issues
·       
Including
knowledge of regulatory requirements of home markets
