Mandela National
Stadium often referred to as Namboole Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in
Kampala, Uganda. It is currently used mostly for football matches, although
other sports are also practiced. The stadium has a capacity of 40,202 people.
The stadium was built with a grant of $36 million dollars from the People’s
Republic of China. The 40,202 capacity sports complex was built with a $36m
Chinese government grant and opened in 1997.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Assists
on delivering, setting up and operating audiovisual equipment (PA, etc);
·
Assists
in operating audio and video recording systems;
·
Assists
in cleaning, maintaining and repairing components of audiovisual equipment;
·
Occasionally
mounts permanent audiovisual equipment such as screens and monitors in the
stadium;
·
Any
other duties that may be assigned from time to time;
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
applicant must hold a Certificate in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or in
Craft Part II in Electronic/Electrical Engineering (UNEB/UBTEB)
·
One (1)
year of relevant experience
·
