Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive the business strategy for the department
·
Leadership and management of staff
·
Financial Management and Reporting (Credit
Control; Forecasting; Income Variance, Budgets and Expense Control)
·
Responsible for all technical functions
including all product development and policy wording enhancement for policies
and insurance
·
Development of new business opportunities
·
Participation in contentious claims and overall
responsibility for all Claims
·
Maintain good client and Insurance Market
relationships
·
Collation of underwriting information
·
Closings to markets/obtaining market
confirmation of cover
·
Obtaining Renewal/Underwriting information from
specific identified clients
·
Agree final terms with specific identified
clients
·
Premium collection
