Job Summary:  The Business Analyst will act as the business
expert responsible for supporting the business decision making process through
data analysis, competitor scans, performance insights in order to improve
efficiency and performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Create,
maintain, and deliver accurate and timely standard reports for designated
area(s) of responsibility on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

·       
Partner
with sales teams in providing fact based insights to drive continued business
growth.

·       
Support
sales teams in preparing for business reviews and joint business planning.

·       
Conduct
an analysis of the business teams’ performance highlighting opportunities and
potential risks.

·       
Coordinate
the formulation of the business operating plans, budgets and monitor progress
towards their achievement.

·       
Identify
and draw attention to important business trends and opportunities to maximize
return while minimizing risk.

·       
Conduct
financial analysis of the sales teams monthly performance and update the Head
of Finance on performance highlighting opportunities and potential risks.

·       
Support
the business in analyzing variances reports, variations from stated strategies
at Category, Brand, Product and Stock Keeping Unit.

·       
Provide
support to the business teams in computation of marketing spend effectiveness
Return on marketing investment.

·       
Identifying
cost saving opportunities and assist in their implementation.

·       
Participate
in financial modelling and develop user friendly data driven reports.

·       
Participate
in the process of developing project performance reports and ensure real-time
reporting and integration in the finance system reporting.

·       
Participate
in the analysis of pricing to ensure an optimal price of products is achieved.

·       
Produce
AD-HOC reports accurately and for timely distribution to both internal and
external customers and respond quickly to AD-HOC requests with short notices
and deadlines.

·       
Utilize
various data systems, extract raw data from reporting system and conduct
in-depth analysis on customer product flow.

·       
Develop
standard templates, scorecards and benchmarking capability across customer and
sales teams.

·       
Provide
support and recommendations for improvements to tools and information used
within analytics of the various Bank segments.

·       
Reviewing
new funding proposal to establish the viability of the project/segment.          

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

·       
The
applicants for the Orient Bank Business Analyst job placement must hold a
bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Applied Economics, Business Administration,
IT and any other related field.

·       
Professional
qualifications in Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
(CIMA).

·       
At least
five years of relevant work experience of which three (3) were in business
analysis

·       
Working
knowledge of Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience is strongly preferred

·       
Good
working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems like SAP

·       
Exceptional
analytical, conceptual thinking skills

·       
Excellent
communication skills, report writing, presentation

·       
Attention
to detail

·       
Organizational
skills

·       
Must be
familiar with Banking practices, policies and procedures

·       
Familiarity
with the Anti-Money Laundering act and other regulatory frameworks.
