the flag carrier of Uganda. The company is a revival of the older Uganda
Airlines which operated from 1977 until 2001. It began flying in August 2019.

Job Summary:  The Cabin Crew will deliver an excellent
service, whilst ensuring onboard safety for all guests.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Understand
the duties of your assigned position during flight and act your best

·       
Ensure
the satisfaction of passengers by answering questions and offering them
assistance

·       
Check
cabin before take-off to ensure compliance to safety regulations

·       
Welcome
travelers on board and help them to their seats when necessary

·       
Serve
food and beverages and sell products

·       
Give the
“safety” presentation in a well-prepared manner

·       
Monitor
the cabin frequently for the entire duration of the flight

·       
Adhere
to established regulations and procedures

·       
Remain
calm and offer assistance to passengers in the event of an emergency

·       
Give
attention to passengers with special needs (children, disabled, elders etc)

·       
Prepare
accurate reports concerning any significant issues or happenings

·       
Understanding
the duties of your assigned position during flight and acting your best

·       
Ensuring
the satisfaction of passengers by answering questions and offering them
assistance

·       
Checking
cabin before take-off to ensure compliance to safety regulations

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
ideal applicant for the Uganda Airlines Cabin Crew job must hold a good
secondary education grade C or above in English and Maths.

·       
Studying
a degree, or foundation degree in hospitality, Languages, Leisure, and Tourism
management, travel and or IATA may be an added advantage

·       
Cabin
crew certification or training

·       
Must be
at least between 21 to 30 years old on the date of joining.

·       
Confident
in water and be able to swim at least 25m unaided.

·       
Able to
reach 212 cms without shoes.

·       
No
tattoos or body piercing (exception for one earring in the lower lobe of each
ear for females only) that would be visible whilst wearing the Uganda Airlines
uniform (bandages and cosmetic coverings are not permitted).

·       
No
criminal record.

·       
Excellent
personal presentation, style, and image.

·       
Willing
to comply with Uganda Airlines’ medical and health screening requirements.

·       
Excellent
communication skills

Competencies

·       
Proven
experience as cabin crew or related customer service experience

·       
Fluency
in English, knowledge of additional languages is a strong advantage

·       
Basic
skills in MS Office

·       
Customer-oriented
approach

·       
Clean,
professional appearance and healthy constitution

·       
Exceptional
communication and presentation skills

·       
Cool
tempered and patient with aptitude in resolving issues
