Job Summary:  The Project Coordinator will play a key role
to build up Engie-Equatorial Ltd capacities to drive and monitor performance.
This position is a unique leadership role that will report to Engie-Equatorial
Chief Executive Officer. The Project Coordinator will be based in Kampala at
ENGIE Equatorial HQ and will work alongside the CEO. He/She will be the main
person of contact with the on-site teams and specifically the site manager.

 Key Duties and
Responsibilities:  

·       
Supporting the company’s overall strategy and
producing and analyzing the data,  and
defining recommendations to justify this strategy.

·       
Collecting, tracking and maintaining records of
data for all aspects from the operational sites (commercial, technical,
operational, HR, institutional).

·       
Analyzing the data and synthetize them for
reporting.

·       
Ensuring project data integrity and
documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.

·       
Maintaining KPI list for each stream of activity
and implement habit of performance follow-up within the team.

·       
Identifying trends in global performance and
provide analysis and recommendations for improvement in order to progress
towards targets.

·       
Identifying weaknesses in the organization and
propose recommendations.

·       
Pursuing implementation of core processes and
provide documentation.

·       
Managing the procurement and supplier selection
process in line with the group requirements and ensuring that procurement
request is aligned with Budget.

·       
Establish request for proposals and procurement
orders in line with Group standards and coordinate pre-qualification of
suppliers.

·       
Realizing effective and timely communication
with shareholders, board members, and subcontractors.

·       
Reporting to the CEO, the steering committee and
to the board of the company.

·       
The Project Coordinator will manage the
preparation of monthly report to the steering committee and the quarterly
report to the board.

·       
The Project Coordinator will also be responsible
for procuring all equipment necessary for the project at the Head Quarter.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management
School, Economics or other related field

·       
Five or more years of proven work experience as
project coordination in a BtoC company 

·       
Passionate about local rural village economics

·       
Passionate about project management and
reporting

·       
Strong capacity to organize information

·       
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel
and PowerPoint)

·       
Advanced quantitative analysis skills

·       
Experience in procurement or accounting

·       
Ability to work independently with a high level
of initiative and sense of priority

·       
Ability to meet targets, deadlines work plan
schedule and milestones, quality control and risk identification.

·       
Outstanding written and verbal communications
skills in English

·       
Entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative nature

·       
Strong capacity of communication in
multi-cultural environment

·       
A strong attention to detail.
