its current status of a Tier II Credit institution following a successful
background as the leading Microfinance services provider in Uganda. The Bank
operates 32 regulated branches and 131 satellite offices covering 84 districts
in Uganda targeting Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs. BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd
promotes financial inclusion by extending financial services to unserved and
underserved populations, especially women and youth as well as people living in
poverty in rural areas. The Bank is operationally and financially
self-sustaining with over 231,000 active customers and a loan book in excess of
Ushs. 175 billion.
Job Summary:   The E-Channels Support Officer will be
supporting the digital transformation agenda aligning with the business
strategy and keeping the bank ahead of competition. They will also be
responsible for the day-to-day technical support of all the digital platforms
and other applications ensuring system stability and enhanced performance. They
will support in implementing the bank’s electronic banking strategies aimed
towards increasing channel usage. The role entails the controlled resolution of
operational incidents and problems (deviation from planned or expected digital
operations) and the provision of advice and information aimed at minimizing the
occurrence and impact of service incidents through process improvement. The
flexibility to work at nights and weekends and ability to respond rapidly to
alerts as necessary is integral to the successful delivery of reliable
applications support and therefore a requirement for this role.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·       
The applicant for the BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd
E-Channels Support Officer job must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology or related field.
·       
ITIL Foundation certification
·       
A minimum of three years’ experience in ICT
Department in a busy commercial environment/ Financial institution
·       
One to two years’ experience with Orbit-R
application
·       
Digital Marketing
·       
Knowledge of policies and procedures related to
E-Channels
·       
Strong understanding and experience in digital
banking services
·       
Broad knowledge and understanding of how digital
impact user experience • Crystal report tool, Experience with data analytics
and tagging concepts
