Job Summary:  The E-Channels Officer will coordinate and
monitor the maintenance of the Bank’s e-channel systems and provide the
interaction between staff and technology and foster the enhancement of business
processes through technology in line with the Bank’s business plan and ICT
policy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Ensure
all the systems primarily ATM’s / VISA related applications & equipment
have appropriate back-ups in place are tested and reports are submitted and
well maintained.

·       
Monitor
ATM’s and applications for errors and performance problems.

·       
Monitor
system resource usage and changes in user access rights in ATM & VISA
applications.

·       
Coordinate
End of Day, system and data backup processes and archiving of data.

·       
Act as a
vendor liaison on behalf of the bank for ATM’s &POS.

·       
Generate
the settlement files for VISA and upload settlement files for POS merchants in
time.

·       
Monitor
the ATM network and transaction volumes for violations and attacks I Frauds I
High Net Values in line with the IT security policy.

·       
Test the
effectiveness of the security safeguards in place and, prepare and test the IT
disaster recovery plan in line with the IT security policy for ATM’s & POS.

·       
Draw up
a Business Impact Analysis for IT systems and carryout an IT E – Business
channel Risk Assessment.

·       
Develop
and co-ordinate the implementation of IT Security awareness program to all
staff and contractors in line E-channel security policies.

·       
Maintain
and monitor the HSM Security devices and Data card printers appropriately to
achieve peak productivity and performance.

·       
Co-ordinate
all designated VISA / ATM I E- channel security related projects.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

·       
The
applicants for the Orient Bank E-Channels Officer job placement must hold a
bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or Degree in any
field plus postgraduate qualification in IT/Computer Science

·       
Three years
of demonstrated experience in IT systems administration

·       
Good Hands
on knowledge on C , C++Programming

·       
Windows,
UNIX and Linux operating systems, Shell Scripting, PHP and Java Scripting
knowledge.

·       
ISO 8583
message formats and hands on ATM and POS devices knowledge.

·       
Awareness
of VISA, Master Card and CUP networks.

·       
Data
Card printing and Card personalization awareness are an added advantage.

·       
Knowledge
on VISA, Mastercard and CUP and VAP.

·       
Understanding
of Back up and data recovery procedures

·       
Understanding
of Channel reconciliations, edit packages and POS devices architecture.

·       
Working
knowledge on E-commerce
