empowers farmers across Western Uganda.

Job Summary:  The Community Liaison Officer should be a
qualified, experienced and motivated candidate to work in the community to
provide leadership in the promotion of gender equality and the remediation of
child labour cases identified within the local community. The role will involve
working closely with the community on social projects and community welfare

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Supporting communities to overcome a variety of
social challenges

·       
Training Agri Evolve staff in gender equality
and child labour issues

·       
Liaise with local councils, government and NGOs
to overcome social problems

·       
Liaising with school management to ensure
retention of children at school

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The applicant must hold a relevant Diploma,
however experience and an enthusiastic attitude are as important

·       
Experience of working on social programs i.e.
gender, youth, child labour etc.

·       
Good at both verbal and written communication
(Lukonzo and English)

·       
Passionate about making a difference and
developing communities

·       
A resident of the area

·       
Easy learner

·       
Critical thinker

·       
Good decision maker
