the preparation of students for thoughtful, productive lives of Christian faith
and service in their respective professions and places.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·       In charge of Water
installation, maintenance and repair of man-holes and water waste pipes, tools,
materials and equipment.

·       Make replacements of all
sanitary appliances if broken or if they have grown old, as requested by the
Supervisor.

·       Trace and analyse causes
of plumbing problems, work from drawings; prepare rough sketches of work and
estimates of materials and labor.

·       Repair and reconnection
of broken pipes around campus.

·       Repair of blocked
drainage pipes and sewer lines.

·       Manage the running of
the day today activities of the plumbing section.

·       Makes periodic
inspections of systems for safe and efficient operation

·       Any other official
duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       The ideal applicant must
hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Water Engineering from a recognized institution of
higher learning.

·       A Certificate in
Plumbing & Sheet Metal Work from a recognized institution of Learning will
be an added advantage.

·       Should have at least
three (3) years of working experience performing similar tasks.

·       Should have completed
Industrial training in plumbing; or equivalent completion of training,
education and experience that would provide the knowledge and abilities

·       Must be a mature and
committed Christian.
