With support from PEPFAR, Mildmay Uganda also offers technical support in
implementation of HIV interventions for Ministry of Health Systems aimed at
accelerating HIV epidemic control. Mildmay Uganda also offers Health
Professional Development through Mildmay Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS)
accredited by Ministry of Education and recognised by National Council for
Higher Education; offering academic and short courses in health care. .
Job Summary: The position holder will support the M&E
Manager and Data Manager to establish and maintain functional Monitoring and Evaluation and Data
Management Systems for Mildmay Uganda Programmes.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate must
hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantitative Economics, Statistics, Economics and
Statistics, Population Studies; or other related field like Social Sciences,
Development studies with postgraduate qualification in M&E.
· The successful candidate
must have at least 3 years’ experience in Monitoring & Evaluation and
preferably in the health sector; Proficiency in project implementation progress
reporting; Experience in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS);
Knowledge in M&E, Research, Data Management & Quality Assurance.
· S/he must have demonstrable advanced computer
skills in STATA, SPSS, MS Excel and MS Access.
