They are recruiting on behalf of a valuable client, an events service provider.  
Job Summary: The Event Coordinator will be
responsible for managing the operations of an events company that primarily
hires our chairs, tents and tables. The incumbent will be tasked with ensuring
they are delivered on time at all the events and delivered back to store after
the events. We are searching for a talented and motivated Event Coordinator to
organize outstanding and unforgettable events.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify the client’s requirements and
expectations for each event.
Work with drivers, stores staff and management
during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
Manage all event set-up, tear down and follow-up
Maintain event budgets.
Work closely with venue owners, entertainers,
photographers, and event MCs to secure prospective business for tent, chair an
table hire.
Conduct final inspections on the day of the
event to ensure everything adheres to the client’s standards.
Assess an event’s overall success and submit

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in
Hospitality Management or Public Relations
At least three years working with an events
management company.
Applicant should have experience in organizing
more than ten functions on the same day
Good organizational skills 
Highly flexible
Knowledge of other tent, chair and table service
providers is desired
Excellent communication and attention to detail
skills are vital in this role
Applicant should have good customer service
Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking
Outstanding vendor management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
