Job Title: Senior Accountant

About US:
CURE Children’s Hospital of Uganda is a specialized
children’s neurosurgery hospital in Uganda. It is a private hospital, owned and
operated by CURE International. The hospital is also a teaching center in
pediatric neurosurgery for Sub-Saharan Africa.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,
Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or related area.
·
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA,
and CIMA is an added advantage.
·
Minimum of three (3) years of accounting
experience, preferably in the healthcare setting.
·
Minimum of one (1 ) year of experience
supervising other staff.
·
Knowledge of government agencies to be
appropriately interfaced with for given legal or regulatory issues with regard
to accounting or record keeping.
·
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles and methodologies
·
Strong work experience with one or more
computerized accounting systems.
·
Excellent computer skills including MS Word, MS
Excel, MS Access, E-mail and internet.
·
Excellent verbal and written communication
skills
·
Fluency in English required.
·
Must uphold professional integrity
