located at Kajjansi, 14 Kilometers along Kampala-Entebbe Road with a second
factory at Kamonkoli in Mbale.
Job Summary: The Security guard is responsible for ensuring
that the properly being guarded, along with all vehicles, contents and the
staff, clients are safe and secure at all times; reporting any unusual security
occurrences in a timely and efficient manner to the security officer.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure the security of
the offices, factories and premises of UCL are guarded, the contents and
residents
· Ensure access control
strategies are in place for prevention of unauthorised entry and/or exit of
persons and items to / from UCL promises for the safety of staff, clients,
visitors and other stakeholders
· Provide an efficient and
effective security service for safety and protection of staff, visitors,
clients service providers and properly at UCL
· Implement the key
management system to ensure control and facilitate easy access of offices
and/or building Keys
· Ensure that all
reporting associated with security matters is canied out in an accurate and
efficient manner
· Take personal
responsibility for ensuring that Uganda Clay’s Quality and Safety procedure are
implemented at all times
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· O’ level / equivalent
· Basic security training
Certificate or relevant training in any security forces
· Ability to read and
write
· Great customer service
· Good communication
skills
· Investigative skills.
· At least 2 years‘ work experience as a
security guard knowledge of static security guard duties in a factory setting
