Hotel in the suburbs of Kampala
Job Summary: The Sales Executive is directly responsible
for income generation through attaining set sales targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Sale a minimum of USD 135 for the deluxe single
room, USD 150 for the deluxe twin room and USD 200 for the Executive Suite.
·
Have a minimum of 5 sales calls per day, at
least 5 site visits per week and at least 12 clients for meals in the
restaurant per week.
·
Comply with the mapping strategy to ensure that
you meet targets within assigned market segment. You will have to move into the
field to get progressive business growth.
·
Acquire a wide range of corporate accounts and
ensure excellent customer services.
·
Proactively identify opportunities arising
across the market.
·
Make daily sales calls with records to generate
income through established guests.
·
You will provide full details of required
services for guests to respective Heads of Department with clear instructions
as confirmed by customers to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery.
·
Submit daily, monthly and quarterly sales
reports.
·
And any other duties in line with this position
that may be assigned under the company’s
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The ideal applicant must hold a Diploma/degree
in Public Relations/Marketing/Leisure and hospitality or any relevant course
·
Communication skills that allow good hospitality
for clients.
·
Good organizational skills and multi-tasking
abilities.
·
Self-driven with the ability to work under
pressure.
·
At least 3 years’ experience in sales and
marketing
