Title: Occupational Therapist

Serenity Centre is a pioneer NGO registered under the NGO
Statue 1989 with a mission to provide holistic services to the individuals,
families and communities affected by substance use and related illnesses. From
a humble beginning since August 2001, Serenity Centre has continued to otter a
number of rehabilitation programs to individuals who struggle with Alcoholism,
drug addiction (Heroin, Cocaine, and Marijuana,) prescribed medication and many
related substances.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitate and train clients in various
occupational skills;
·
Managing and accounting for resources allocated
to the unit;
·
Participating in outreach programs;
·
Ensuring quality assurance in occupational
services;
·
Ensuring proper maintenance and functioning of
all sports equipment;
·
Managing and coordinating all occupational
therapy programs and projects ensuring that clients participate in them;
·
Offer counselling to clients under
rehabilitation; work closely with the Counselling team and prepare reports to the
ED through the Clinical Coordinator;
·
Perform any other duties assigned by the
supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The applicant must hold a Diploma in
Occupational therapy from a recognized institution.
·
Updated registration and annual practicing
license with Allied Health Professionals‘ Council
·
One year of working experience in the same or
related field.
·
Good computer knowledge and documentation skills
·
Basic Counseling skills and Knowledge in
addiction management
·
Good leadership and management skill
