of civil war, we planted Watoto Church in Kampala, Uganda to speak hope and
life to the nation. As we work alongside the most vulnerable in our society,
our aim is to rescue individuals and raise each one as a leader in their sphere
of life so that, in turn they will rebuild the nation. In all of this, Watoto
remains a local church, committed to celebrating Christ and caring for
community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

To study design briefs and conceptualize visuals
based on requirements
·
To create design solutions including appropriate
illustrations, logos, layouts and
·
photos within the required deadline and budget
·
To produce final standard designs
·
To test graphics across various media and ensure
that the quality of work is to the
·
desired standard of excellence
·
To actively interact and engage with various
suppliers and other stakeholders
·
To adhere to guidelines in Marketing &
Communications Handbook and ensure that
·
trainees are growing professionally in the
relevant areas
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The applicant for the role should have a minimum
of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and any other related field
·
The ideal candidate should have a proven track
record of at least 2 years working experience in Graphic Design &
Photography
·
Must have experience in InDesign, Illustrator,
Photoshop, and LightRoom or equivalent photo editing software
·
Must be flexible, adaptable, creative, able to
pay attention to details and organised to manage multiple projects at the same
time
