Job Summary: The Production Supervisors are responsible
for supervising the production staff, organizing and monitoring work flow
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and enforce
systems, policies and procedures
· Maintain work flow by
monitoring steps of the process and properly setting the equipment processing
variables
· Maintain quality service
by establishing and enforcing organization standards
· Operation of equipment
by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques
· Facilitate corrections
to malfunction within process control points
· Complete production plan
by scheduling and assigning personnel
· Maintain safe, clean and
hygienic production areas
· Develop production
reports, graphs and charts
· Provide manufacturing
information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate must
possess a degree in in Engineering or Food science, with 3 years working
experience in a busy manufacturing industry in a similar position. He or she
must have a good understanding of the equipment relationship in the process
flow, understand the continuous improvement concept and also be good at record
keeping.
· The ideal candidate must
be analytical, possess good planning skills, interpersonal and coaching skills
as well as have the ability to make decisions.
· This job involves
climbing, bending, working at heights as well as respond to call outs after
working hours.
