About US:
Hunger Fighters Uganda, is
WFP Cooperating Partners for General Food Assistance in Nakivale/Oruchinga and
Kyangwali Refugee settlements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage workflow by assigning tasks to other
administrative employees daily, and ensure that deadlines are met and work is
completed correctly.
· Answering and directing phone calls to relevant staff.
· Taking note and minutes in meetings.
· Develop and maintain a filling system for proper
record keeping.
· Making travelling arrangements, such as booking cars
and hotels and restaurant reservation for Hunger Fighters Uganda.
· Ordering and taking stock of Hunger Fighters Uganda
office supplies.
· Act as a point of contact for internal and external
clients.
· Assist in training staff members and new hires.
· Prepare document for meetings and business trips.
· Maintain polite and professional communication via
phone: e-mail and mail.
· Assume responsibility for maintenance of office
equipment, including computers, photocopy machines and fax machines.
· Provide general support to visitors.
· Finding ways to improve administrative processes.
· Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time by
relevant authority.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration or Business Management is advantageous.
· Proven experience of three years working in an office
environment.
· Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
· Working knowledge of business management.
· The ability to multitask.
