Job Summary: The
Accountant is responsible for providing financial and accounting services to
Kiira Motors Corporation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Posting accounting entries into the General Ledger.
·
Preparing Management Accounts and any other
reports as required.
·
Participating in preparation of statutory
company financial statements.
·
Ensuring the company internal controls are
adhered to and recommending any improvements.
·
Filing monthly statutory returns.
·
Preparing monthly bank reconciliation statements
·
Preparing payments by verifying supporting
documentation and requesting for and ensuring disbursement of funds in a timely
manner.
·
Prepare payment certificates and ensuring
receipts are filed for all payments made to service providers.
·
Filing payment vouchers and ensuring that all
financial records are complete and securely backed up.
·
Provide responses to accounting procedure
questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies, regulations and
guidelines.
·
Providing accounting clerical services as may be
required
·
Any other duties assigned by the Senior
Accountant.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The applicant for the Kiira Motors Corporation
(KMC) Accountant job must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors – At least Second
Class Upper Division) in Commerce, Business Administration, Business Studies,
Finance, Accounting or related field from a recognized Institution; and
·
Must have completed level 2 of the Certified
Public Accountants Course
·
Financial Management;
·
Concern for quality and standards;
·
Accountability;
·
Ethics and Integrity;
·
Communication; and
·
Time management.
