give expert advice to complicated HR problems. The business has now been
transformed into a fully-integrated HR Services firm targeting the SME market
segment desirous of solutions to HR problems. Our client is a financial
services provider to whom we (Watu) offer outsourced HR services and support.
Job Summary: This is a generalist role that will
assist with various HR administrative initiatives meant to provide a high
performance culture and standards. The job holder will work closely with
various departments and staff in resolving human resource individual, policy or
procedural issues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Ensuring
the administrative efficiency of the human resources function (payroll
administration, administration of background checks, drafting various HR
correspondences, monitoring headcount status, exit management etc)
·
Administering
a wide range of welfare schemes and benefits by processing required
documentation for enrollments, contract management and terminations.
·
Conducting
new employee orientation to ensure new hires are assimilated quickly and
seamlessly into the team.
·
Managing,
mobilizing and coordinating all the logistical requirements needed for various
staff engagement and training events.
·
Serve
as safety representative, including coordination of safety training needs,
assisting with safety audits, facilitating compliance with standards and maintaining
related safety records.
·
Maintaining
appropriate documentation of maintenance schedules, equipment installations,
structural repairs and work orders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The
applicant must hold a University degree in Human Resource Management.
·
Two
years of practical work experience.
·
Strong
communication and interpersonal skills.
·
Ability
to follow up and close issues.
·
Meticulous,
detail-oriented and ability to multitask.
