Job Creation and Diversification of the Ugandan Economy as a Key Growth Area in
Line with Vision 2040. The Equity Partners are Government of the Republic of
Uganda represented by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (96%)
and Makerere University (4%).
Job Summary:   The Company Driver is responsible for driving
and maintaining the assigned company vehicles in accordance with the company
process, guidelines and regulations as well as the Traffic and Road Safety Act
1998 (As Amended) and other applicable regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Driving any vehicle assigned for official duty
and assignments
Carrying out basic maintenance and cleanliness
of the vehicle
Reporting all Technical and Mechanical faults to
the supervising officer
Ensuring the safety of the vehicle and its
occupants while on duty
Any other duties assigned by the Senior
Administration Officer.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant for the Kiira Motors Corporation
(KMC) Company Driver job must hold a Valid Driving License to drive a bus
(Class/ Group DH)
Certificate in Defensive Driving
Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE)
Must pass a personality test
At least three years of experience as a Company
Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Vehicle
Clean Driving Record
Public Relations and Customer Care
Time management.
Ability to Speak, Read and Write English.
