commodities and medical devices to organizations that are futuristic

Job Summary: To manage
effective distribution of Health commodities, medical equipment and devices to health
facilities in the assigned region.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·        
Create
effective distribution plans for health commodities and medical equipment to
health facilities within the assigned region on a regular basis. This involves
planning for efficient delivery route plans.

·        
Coordinate
timely distribution of commodities to health facilities by field team in line
with distribution plan and quality protocols. Plan and give administrative
support where necessary.

·        
Maintain
accurate and up-to-date electronic and manual proof of delivery database and
other records to provide timely accountability for deliveries as well as
information to facilitate warranty support.

·        
Guide
and orient field team on compliance with established delivery protocol and
other policies, systems and procedures.

·        
Supervise
the use and maintenance of assigned field resources including vehicles and
mobile computing devices.

·        
Liaise
with internal and external stakeholders to compile and analyze distribution
data to aid proper decision making.

·        
Design
and implement trainings and other interventions to address challenges in
distribution operations.

·        
Prepare
regular and accurate status progress reports

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·        
The
ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Logistics &
Supply Chain Management, Nursing or a related field.

·        
Additional
training in supply chain is an added advantage.

·        
At
least four (4) years’ progressive work experience in a similar role. Previous
field and driving / riding experience will be an added advantage.

·        
Ability
to manage multiple priorities within deadlines while delivering high quality
work.

·        
Solution
oriented with a high sense of attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.

·        
Ability
to use quality tools such as benchmarking, brainstorming, gap analysis and
process mapping for fact-based decision making.

·        
Strong
supervision, interpersonal and communication skills.

·        
Highly
skilled in Microsoft Office suite applications.
