About the Job:

Palladium seeks Kampala—based
staff for its newly awarded Uganda Health Systems Strengthening (UHSS) Project.
The purpose of the UHSS Project is to strengthen Uganda’s health system through
improved leadership and accountability for results in public and private health
sectors. All staff must be fluent in written and spoken English and able and
willing to travel frequently within Uganda. Experience on USAID-funded
contracts is highly desired.

Job Summary:  Under the direction of the F&A Director,
will ensure that UHSS staff and subcontractors follow approved policies and
procedures. S/he supports internal reviews of all payment requests to ensure
all necessary backup documentation is provided, maintains ownership of the
projects inventory tracker, and conducts monthly spot checks of all project
inventory to ensure proper use of all government property. Supports the F&A
Director to streamline monthly budgeting process, including liaising with
program staff to ensure budget inputs are collected in a timely manner.
Supports the Procurement Manager to draft requests for proposals, requests for
quotations, and other documents as needed

Qualifications, Skills
and Experience:

·        
Bachelor’s degree in related field required.

·        
Minimum of five (5) years’ operations and
logistics experience, preferably on a USAID-funded project.

·        
Demonstrated experience with procurement and
budgeting for donor funded projects.

·        
Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and
Excel
