Job Summary: The job holder is responsible for the Diaspora
Banking strategy development and implementation in order to maximize growth of
customer numbers and revenue in line with the Bank’s Business objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective business
development and marketing strategies to maximise opportunities in Diaspora
Banking
·
Drive diaspora customer acquisition, loan and
deposit growth
·
Provide senior level guidance and support to the
Diaspora staff and branches.
·
Build product awareness across the team members,
partners/agents ‘
·
Establish and manage effective customer issue
escalation processes
·
Develop and foster relationships within the
diaspora community
·
Growth of remittance transactions and volumes as
well as FX Income and Commissions.
·
Grow the Banks Market Share of Diaspora
Remittances
·
Ensure compliance with local rules and
regulations
·
Expand money transfer Agency distribution
network
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
Bachelor’s degree in at relevant field from a
recognized University.
·
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a relationship
management role with 2 or more years in a supervisory function
·
Intimate knowledge} of the overall diaspora
banking environment and international remittances business.
·
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft office
and banking software applications.
·
Excellent relationship management skills and
interpersonal skills
·
Broad, knowledge of banking operation practices,
policies, products and applicable regulations.
·
ln-depth knowledge of key operations functions
as well as bank policies and procedures
·
Ability to operate in a performance driven
organization
