Job Summary:  The Head of Business Development is
responsible for the marketing and safes of integrated security solutions to prospective
and existing customers, to achieve established sales target.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Development of sales strategy specific to the business.
  • Identification of potential new business opportunities
  • Arrange and conduct meetings with new and existing business
  • Direct involvement in leading and negotiating major bids on optimal
    commercial terms.
  • Finalise contract documentation
  • Prepare and submit Contract schedule to appropriate departments.
  • Preparation and submission of monthly reports
  • Provide information on new and lost business as required.
  • Advise Operational management of sales activities.
  • Ensure appropriate customer measures and KPIs are maintained at
  • Ensure Pricing, risk and commercial contract terms are appropriately
    applied for

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
    Administration. (Masters Degree is advantageous)
  • Should have a strong background in senior sector management and
    business development.
  • Experience in the development of business and negotiation of large
    bids and tenders.
  • Ability to maintain strong ethical and professional values.
  • Extensive experience at senior management levels.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to rapid environmental changes
  • Capable of working effectively and productively with senior
    management team members from diverse cultural environment.
Personal Attributes
  • Have a strong negotiation and Persuasive sale ability.
  • Good Communicator in both written and spoken English.
  • Must be a team player. good interpersonal skills and able to make
    sound decisions.
  • Must be good at conflict management with good analytical skills.
