Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Oversees all revenue received from students on University
  • Manage monthly revenue from other sources such as electricity,
    water, rent, money generating projects, etc.
  • Compiles the monthly figures for management accounts reports
  • Assist the CFO in managing all aspects of management accounting
  • Be responsible for preparing management accounts
  • Be responsible for recording, processing and posting all
    transactions relating to all University Projects
  • Reviewing bank reconciliations
  • Coordinate external audits.
  • Be in charge of payables
  • Do overall supervision of the Annual Stocktaking
  • Carry out any other function that may be required by relevant
    authorities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The candidate should possess a relevant Bachelor’s Degree (or its
    equivalent). A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
  • S/he should have enrolled for ACCA /CPA and completed all subjects
    in level 2.
  • A minimum of two years of experience within the accounting field.
  • S/he should be conversant with accounting software like Quickbooks,
    Tally etc.
  • S/he should have satisfactory record of service to the Community.
  • S/he should have soft skills and high Degree of integrity.
