registrar of companies in South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya and Sudan.
Job Summary:  The Finance/Admin Officer will be responsible
for the performance of a variety of duties categorized by either financial or
administrative support including front desk customer service, posting the daily
transactions, preparing deposits, coding, verifying and reconciling accounts,
payroll processing, purchase orders, invoices, cheque, bank statements..
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Financial Support
includes;
  • Oversee the preparation and planning of budgets
  • Maintain records and receipts for all daily transactions, monitor
    all bank deposits and payments on daily basis
  • Prepare balance sheets and invoices, maintains accounting controls,
    recommending policies and procedures, reconciles financial discrepancies
    by collecting and analyzing account information
  • The jobholder prepares payments, follow up and requesting
    disbursements, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations
Administration
functions includes;
  • Produce a range of documents including letters/emails and
    presentations as required
  • Handling office tasks
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the service, including
    enquiries screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate
    party, assist in other HR related as assigned



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Degree from recognized University in
    Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • At least two years of experience in similar role in a giant setup.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable
    and receivable, administrative procedures
  • Computer literacy skills
  • High levels of professionalism
  • High degree of creativity and flexibility.
  • CPA and knowledge of using accounting software like Quick Books and
    Tally
