freight forwarding and logistics.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

Portfolio management

  • Develop loyalty and optimize the existing customer portfolio
  • Acquire, through prospecting actions, new customers / traffics /
    activities
  • Follow-up new customer development
  • Sell all logistics solutions services (Supply Chain, Air Freight,
    Ocean Freight, Forwarding, hub and Clearance)
  • Sell to clients within specific Vertical Markets
  • Promote new sales offers
  • Recommend the appropriated transport offer to customers/prospects
    based on their needs and requirements and propose alternative solutions if
    needed
  • Follow the profitability on customers with the Country Commercial
    Manager or National Sales Manager

Key account
Management

  • Be responsible for the external and internal development of the
    assigned Key Accounts
  • Develop and perpetuate activity (gross margin) with the existing Key
    Accounts and acquire new customers / traffics / activities through
    individual prospecting actions
  • Set-up a regional / country development strategy for Key Accounts
  • Elaborate commercial action plans and schedule of work
  • Share sales information to network in order to increase penetration
    rate on Key Accounts at a worldwide level
  • Represent the company to the Key Accounts for which a centralized
    and coordinated action is needed
  • Set up lobbying actions on Key Accounts prospects to make the company
    being more visible and participate to future tenders
  • Sell Bollore Transport & Logistics full range of services to the
    assigned Key Accounts with the help of relevant expertise

Sales activity

  • Organize sales calls and visits with existing clients and prospects
  • Define standard operating procedures related to offers / quotations
  • Generate offers / quotations to potential customers in coordination
    with the Management and the Purchasing Department
  • Negotiate sales contracts in coordination with Legal Department

Information sharing
coordination

  • Transmit sales information to Operational teams, providing agreement
    taken with the customers and the specific operational procedures
  • Exchange sales information with Bollore Logistics network
  • Provide required information to Finance Department for account
    creation

Financial risks
management

  • Monitor customers’ prospects solvency in coordination with Finance
    Department
  • Estimate the risks / loss following a litigation, in coordination
    with Legal and Finance Departments
  • Participate in cash collection in accordance with legal provisions

Reporting

  • Participate to internal meeting fixed by his/her reporting lines
  • Define and achieve, during the budgetary year, his/her objectives in
    coordination with the Country Commercial Manager
  • Write visits / sales calls reports
  • Analyse individual performance with the Country Commercial Manager
  • Update and complete the CRM tool

Others

  • Realize one-off communication mission and promote the company on the
    market during promotion operations

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Business
    Administration or its equivalent from a recognized university
  • Three years of experience in a similar or related role preferably in
    a Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry
  • Good use of email and internet applications
  • Resourceful, flexible, able to handle competing priorities and able
    to fit into an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the
    ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and creative problem solving
    skills
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team and to show
    initiative and innovation
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office tools (Word, Excel,
    PowerPoint) and ideally familiar with the use of CRM tools
  • Be customer and results focused
  • Honest and possessing a high level of integrity
