Volunteering
provides the means through which the essential pre conditions for sustainable
change- ownership, participation, empowerment and Inclusion can be realized
Hence, VSO promotes volunteering as a powerful and practical approach to tackle
poverty and inequality, VSO Uganda is
implementing the International Citizen Service programme (cs) in three
Districts; Hoima Lira and kitgum. Through working with VSO partners in these
Districts, the youth programme will directly contribute to building skills and
increasing employ ability for 1 young people
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The
ideal applicant must be a Ugandan aged 18-30
·
Must be interested in contributing to building resilient
livelihoods for fellow youth and raising awareness about the Sustainable
Development
·
Should
be committed to the principle of
volunteering to support community development
·
Must have a minimum of A’ Levels qualification/Vocational
training
·
The applicant must be fully available between JUNE 2020 and DECEMBER
2020 for at least 3 months
