About US:
The
Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC), established by the Equal Opportunities
Act of 2007 is mandated to provide a framework for redressing imbalances, which
exist against the marginalized groups while promoting equal opportunities for
all.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
        
Tasked
with collating budget estimates
        
Verifying
and preparing payments including salaries
        
Controlling
vote record, expenditures, deposits and imprest
        
Reconciling
and maintaining Books of Accounts
        
Supervising
revenue collections
        
Compiling
and submitting periodic reports
        
Any
other duties as may be assigned from time to time



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
        
The
applicant must hold an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in either Finance and
Accounting or Commerce (Accounting option), Business Administration (Accounting
option) or Business studies (Accounting option)
        
Full
professional accounting qualifications like ACCA, CPA or CIMA plus a minimum of
postgraduate qualification in Accounting or Financial Management from a
recognized University of Institution.
        
A
minimum of a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting or Financial Management and
knowledge of computerized accounting will be an added advantage.
        
A
minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience at the level of an
Accountant in Government or equivalent experience from a reputable
organization,
