Job Summary: The Sales Executive is responsible for
assisting and supporting the sales manager in developing the base of long-term
sources of clients by engaging with prospective clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop
marketing strategies to compete with other insurance providers - Interview
prospective clients to obtain information regarding their financial
resources, insurance needs, and to discuss the scope of insurance coverage - Explain
features, advantages, and disadvantages of various insurance products to
clients - Deliver
and explain the policy to policyholders and make suggestions for
additional cover - Confer
with policyholders to obtain information when claims are made on a policy - Calculate
premium and establish payment method - Ensure
that policy requirements are fulfilled, including necessary medical
examinations - Notify
and explain necessary records keeping by the policyholders - Inspect
properties to determine if it is a good insurance risk - Monitor
claims to ensure they are settled fairly for both policyholders and the
company - Perform
administrative tasks such as record keeping and processing policy renewals - Seek
out new clientele by networking and generate lists of prospective clients - Sell
insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of the company
and - Such
duties as are customarily performed by other persons in a similar position
and such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the
Employer.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in
any related field.
