Civil
Aviation Authority (CAA) is a corporate body responsible tor regulation of
civil aviation in Uganda. It manages Entebbe international Airport (EIA) and
thirteen (13) other upcountry aerodromes. CAA carries out its work in
conformity with international Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standards and
Recommended Practices (SARPs).
Job Summary: The Safety
Records Management Officer will provide support to the Senior UCAA Flight
Safety Standards & Licensing Documentation Centre Library.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
•
The
applicant for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Safety Records Management
Officer job placement must hold an honors Bachelor’s Degree in Library and
Information Science (BLIS)
•
At
least four years’ extensive relevant work experience in a reputable
organization with at least 3 years of practical experience in a similar
position and preferably at a civil aviation authority or aviation training center.
•
Should
have good interpersonal skills
•
Ability
to work within minimum supervision
•
Should
have competency in the use and management of Records Management Software.
•
Should
be under 55 years of Age
