About US:

The mission of the
Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI) is to strengthen health systems in Africa,
with a strong emphasis on infectious diseases through research and capacity
development. IDI has six operational areas through which it works to achieve
its mission: Prevention, Care and Treatment, Global Health Security, Training,
Research, Laboratory services (including the CAPcertified IDI Core Lab) and
Outreach.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 

·        
Participate
in the implementation of the demand creation plan for SMC services.

·        
Adopt
the existing MOH SMC mobilization strategy to suit the assigned catchment area.

·        
Liaise
with other stakeholders as assigned in creating demand for SMC.

Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:

·        
Diploma
or Certificate in mass communication, social work, education, psychology and
related fields.

·        
Two
years working experience

·        
Experience
of working in a medical setting and some understanding of HIV/AIDS is an added
advantage.

·        
Good
communication skills

·        
Ability
for team work

·        
Ability
to communicate with clients in local language is added advantage
