About US:

The
Uganda Cancer Institute is mandated by me UCI Act of 2016 to undertake cancer
care, research and training. The UCI is also the designated EastAfrica Regional
Centre of Excellence in Cancer Care, Research and Training.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 

·        
To
analyze information, software design, documentation, testing, programming and
development of Radiotherapy ICT equipment;

·        
To
prepare and install solutions by designing and determining system
specifications, standards and programming;

·        
To
maintain and troubleshoot all networks and computer related issues;

·        
To
integrate security, physical, control solutions for all confidential systems
and data;

·        
To
integrate and configure computer network for best performance;

·        
To
test and evaluate all new ICT technology;

·        
To
enhance the department ICT systems through appropriate upgrades and advise on
required changes or improvements;

·        
To
conduct electrical safety checks on all ICT equipment in the department; and

·        
To
carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:

·        
The
ideal candidate must  have a Bachelor’s
degree in Software Engineering
