St. Mary’s Hospital
Lacor, commonly referred to as Lacor Hospital, is a hospital in Gulu District,
Northern Uganda. It was founded by Comboni Missionaries and is administered and
managed by Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Gulu.
Job Summary: The I.T Officer will be in-charge of managing
St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor complex, Microsoft based, Information technology
infrastructure, under the Supervision of the ICT Manager/Head of the IT
Section, but with a high level of autonomy, which is expected to increase with
time and experience.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate most hold a Degree in the information Technology
field (information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering) - Hold a Microsoft Certification (e.g. MCSE, MESA).
- A minimum of two years of experience in managing a complex IT
infrastructure in a reputable organization. - Hard working and dedicated
- A good team player and ability to communicate well with others
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Integrity
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating System,
and Microsoft Skill, Server - Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly Navision)
- The employment interview will comprise of written and oral tests
aiming to affirm the candidates skills.
